THE WALL OF FACES

Some may think you are forgotten
Though on earth you are no more
But in our memory you are with us
As you always were before….

We were on the track team together and became good friends. Went to his house which (I think) over looked Rock Creek Park. It was a beautiful home.

We were on the track team together at MJC. A good friend. A competitor. I miss him to this day

Dear WO Robert Shields, Thank you for your service as an Utility/Observation Helicopter Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Valentine’s Day. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Hazen Shields was a great guy that lived in my neighborhood where I grew up in Kensington, Md on East Stanhope Drive. His sacrifice will always be remembered. I was at the US Naval Academy when he was taken. He baby sat me when I was younger.
