Thank You

Dear PFC Stephen Shelley, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. I researched you the 54th anniversary of his injury, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another new year. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Stephen A Shelley - A Remembrance from Family

Stephen Andrew Shelley a heartfelt thank you from a family member. I was only four years old when you made the ultimate sacrifice serving your country in a far away land. I pray that every person knows that "freedom" is not free. Freedom requires a commitment and a price of willingness to serve just like you had. To run into harms way when the normal response would be to go the opposite way. I know for sure because of the gift of Jesus there is no chance your sacrifice was in vain. I am thankful for the earthly family connection we have but even more importantly the spiritual connection. I know because of this we will meet someday in heaven! I feel on some level that I already know you even though we never physically met. Thank you, Stephen Andrew Shelley today and every day until we meet again!

Remembering Stephen

I still vividly remember the day Stephen's mother called me to let me know Stephen was killed in action. Less than two weeks later I had to call her to let her know my brother James Buchy was also killed in action. Stephen and Jimmy will always be missed and remembered with much love. Looking forward to seeing both of you again.
