Ltjg. Edward Brendan Shaw was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism and extraordinary achievement while engaged in aerial flight. He served as a Pilot and was assigned to VA-165, CVW-15, USS CORAL SEA, TF 77, 7TH FLEET.

Never forget

I wore your bracelet during my time in the Navy and for many years after. I landed on the USS Coral Sea many times not knowing it was the ship you took your last flight from.
