Wore your bracelet out...

I sent for a bracelet when they first became available. I received your bracelet in copper. I got a letter from your mother talking about you. I remember when the servicemen came home and deplaned and walked to a microphone and said their names, I was glued to the television hoping to see you. About 20 years ago I was at the Wall in DC, I had been there several times before. I was walking away to where the vendors are located and one of them started talking with me. It was your aunt and she took my name and kept in contact for many years. I still have the bracelet but am afraid to wear it as I don't want it to break. I may send for another one as I have never forgotten you. See you on the other side. Joan
