A Browns Mill, N.J. soldier was killed in action in Vietnam less than six weeks after he arrived, the Defense Department announced Saturday.
Pfc. Leonard E. Sexton, 20, of Carpenter lane, a 25th Infantry Division tank crewman, was killed Monday. He left for Vietnam on June 28. Pfc. Sexton left Bordentown Regional High School in February, 1966, to enlist in the Army.
He is survived by his wife, the former Dolly Morris; his parents Earl and Amy Sexton, and two brothers, Frank and Paul.
