DEAR SERGEANT GREGORY BOMBERRY,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS. IT WAS JUST EASTER - GOD'S BLESSINGS ON YOU.

COUSIN GREG
Cousin we never met. I was only 13 when you passed. I only found out about you when I attended a travelling Wall Veterans Memorial at Chiefswood Park at Six Nations of the Grand River Indian Reserve, Ontario Canada many years ago. I took my mother Wilma, your aunt, who you often wrote to, to this historic event. She was so glad to pay her respects. It was at that time I met my Aunt Billie and several cousins, your brothers and sisters, Karen, Darrel, etc. I remember you every year at this time and want to thank you for your service. I notice that you have not been acknowldeged as being a Native American Mohawk First Nations citizen in the records I have seen online. I hope this gets corrected.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT Gregory Lee Bomberry, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

I never met you Greg
But we were both born in Niagara Falls on April 4, 1947. I was off the coast of Vietnam sailing on a Navy Supply Ship when you were killed. Left the ship about that time with orders to Italy. I did my time, but you my brother, you were a hero.
Rest in peace.
Rest in peace.
