we will remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thank You
Dear PFC Stanley Semler, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Your 56th anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another new year, and Martin Luther King Day. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Stan
He was my radio operator! A great guy! Both of us were hit in a ground assault At about 1:30 pm in Bong Son. We were advancing across a rice paddy when the NVA regulars opened up with automatic weapons. I can still see his face. God bless you, my friend!
