THE WALL OF FACES

In honor of your dedication and sacrifice to our Country, our Corps, and our CAP unit, on 8 August 2024 the CAP Unit Veterans Association will have a brick engraved with your name installed along the walkway of the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia, at the Dedication of the Combined Action Platoon Monument.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

PFC Leon Sears is buried in the Bivouac of the Dead of the Old Pine Grove cemetery in Waterbury, CT.

Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Leon as a childhood Friend and fellow Vietnam Veteran drafted 10/07/1968. I was fortunate to have survived and was discharged 10/07/1970. Sorry to hear of the loss of you. Your vibrant Spirit will remain with me Always. We went to Wilbur High School together.You, me and Steve Henderson. Alfred (Genieboy) Blanchard. God Bless you, my Brother.

Dear PFC Leon Sears, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy New Year. Time moves quickly.
