THE WALL OF FACES

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

Dear PFC Michael Scroggin, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy New Year. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

When Michael was lost, his unit was on the Razorback Mountain. My squad was told to go to the base of the Mtn. an meet his squad and bring him back to the Command Post. When
we arrived the Chaplain was visiting. We placed his body in the Chaplains Jeep. I often see his name 52 years later

PFC Scroggin was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor for his courage under fire while serving with M Co, 3rd Bn, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division.
