Dear Sgt.

I recently watched the movie Brothers in War where your friend speaks about losing you, but I don't think your lost Sgt. What you've done for our country means more to me than anything. I thank you for giving your life and giving up everything to protect us. You serve a special place in my heart. Thank you Sgt and know that we will fight on and never forget those who have done what you have done, you'll always be remembered and never forgotten

With love,

Forever in our hearts

I was just a little girl and did not know about war. We are protected from all of lifes inperfections by our parents. I have very little memories of you but you are my brother and will always have you in my heart. We (the family) keep you in our hearts as we now realize the reason why you and many others like you serve our country - and that is to keep us safe and free from all the cruel and unjust enemies surrounding us. Our faith and honor in all that we do for our country and fallen soldiers and those currently serving is with great PRIDE!

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Benito Alaniz, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
