Thank You

Dear PFC Jeffrey Schumacher, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you

I never met you, never knew until now what you looked like, but you went to school with my mother. Since I was little my family made trips to D.C. from Fairport and paid our respects to those listed on the wall. I have always remembered where your name is, and all my life, when I go to D.C., I make time to visit you. Thank you for your sacrifice, for your courage, for your guidance, and for your inspiration. It is because of men like you that I decided to serve. I never served overseas, though I volunteered six times, I served for 21yr, 6 months, because of you, and your brothers in arms. Thank you for the sacrifice you and your family gave. One day I will meet you in heaven above, and when I do, I hope to give you a big gracious hug.
