THE WALL OF FACES

David was my best friend in high school. We were in civil Air patrol and Air Force ROTC together. We used to have competitions for who could hold their breath the longest. Neither of us ever reached four minutes but we can close. I remember when he got a motor scooter, and that was so cool. That kind of thing works important back in high school. I miss you David.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear Sp4 David Schultz, Thank you for your service as a CH-47 Helicopter Repairer. Today is the 52nd anniversary of the start of your tour. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
