Remembering Private George Schnitger
As a an 11 year old in the late '50's, George was my first neighborhood friend. He accompanied me to my new school for the first week, showed me around, and altogether showed me great friendship and kindness which I have never forgotten. Rest in peace George, and condolences to his family.

Dear PFC Gerard Schnitger, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Youru 56th anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Merry Christmas.
