Thank You

Dear Cpl Kenneth Schauble, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman . Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 3rd week of Advent, Christmas is soon. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

USMC FLAG

While visiting my parents graves in Rockland Cemetery in Orangeburg NY around August 2018 I saw Kenneths grave near my parents graves that I never noticed before, I cleaned up the dead shrubs and placed a USMC flag and some artificial flowers on Kenneth's grave so his grave can be attended and can be remembered as his family is to far away in other states. Kenneth was in Vietnam the same time I was although I was Navy driving gun boats and we never met, I went to high school in Old Tappan and Kenneth in Demarest NJ. We were both born in 1947.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Kenneth William Schauble, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
