Misadventure (Friendly Fire)

SGT James A. Buckley and SGT Edward J. Boggess were infantrymen assigned to A Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry, 198th Infantry Battalion. On December 29, 1968, they were on a combat operation about 9 miles southeast of Tam Ky when a friendly ambush team mistook them for a hostile force and engaged them, fatally wounding both soldiers. a awesome brother

i remeber as a young girl my brother ed would always get ahold of my barbies and put pins in them but i got ahold of his gi joe doll and hid it from him. he loved his siblings. and he would do anything for anyone. we miss him to this day and we honor him today for sacrificing his life for our country. see you in heaven myt brother
