Changed my life
Wally lived one house away and was one of my best friends. I was seriously considering enlisting when we got word of his death. I went to college, joined ROTC and ultimately served 23 years in the Army. I also met my wife of 53 years at Wally's house. Who knows where or who I would be if not for him. Think of him every day.
