My Dad TSGT (Retired) B J Jones served with Bob. He always spoke very highly of Bob and often reminded me that my July 15th birthday was shared with a great man. May he Rest In Peace.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear A2C Robert A Saucier, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

Remembrance
Robert and I were roommates (for several months) while going to USAF Motion Picture Cameraman school in Orlando Florida. Robert had me take the photo so he could send it to his folks when he found out that he had orders for Viet Nam. Robert was a soft spoken man, very much liked by all. As I recall, he was very much a church going man.
Roommate (1365 Photo Sqdn) prior to his going to Viet Nam
