My Friend
Hi Bob, this is the "professor" and I want you to know that I will NEVER forget you and I think of you quite often in my quiet times. As you know, I was there the day you paid the ultimate price for freedom. In the years since this tragic event, I searched for your family and found your dad in Wellston, MI. where I was able to meet and talk with him on two different visits. He said he had waited 29 years, for someone to contact him, and I was the only one that had done so. I'm sorry I did not meet your mother since she had already passed. I also tried to contact your sister, Bette, but was unable to find her. Just want you to know that she is still on my "bucket list". Forever remembered; Charles T. Blaniar [ the professor ]. Thank You for your service "my friend" !

Remembering An American Hero
Dear CPL Robert Ray Boeskool, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
