Remembering Private First Class Thomas Michael Sands, U.S. Marine Corps, La Salle Boys High School Class of 1964, on what would've been his 76th birthday - 13 January 2022.

He is one of 4 La Salle H.S. graduates to make the ultimate sacrifice in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. His 3 fellow alumni are:

One Great Guy

We, served together at An Hoa,Hill 42,Hill 55 went to Okinawa together and returned to Vietnam and went to Camp Carroll.Our squad was broken up and I went out to D 9 and old abandoned Green Beret out post.I never saw you againbut I never forgt you either.You were often a breath of laughter in a tough time.Semper Fi!
