1LT George Joseph Bodnar
1LT Bodnar was the 3rd Tank Platoon Leader of D Company, 1st Squadron,
11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. His unit was ambushed while escourting/protecting Engineers
conducting mine road clearing operations. He gave his life doing his job. He is an American hero.
