THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Dear Sp4 Michael Sample, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on your 52nd anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Thanksgiving is soon. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Wish I'd known you were in country while I was there, Mike. I was stationed at Tan San Nhut April '68-69.

Dear Mike- I never got to say Goodbye, Thank you but most of all, "I love you."

I hope up in Heaven you have found peace, love & happiness. I pray that you know how proud you have made all of us, how you touched our hearts & lives in such a deep way in the short years we were fortunate to spend with that seems so brief.

I hope you know how sad and heart-broken and proud Mom and Dad were of you and for your loss. The only blessings is that they we're so heart broken that they came shortly after to spend time with you in Heaven. May God Bless all there of you, and I know you are smiling at each other.
