Not Forgotten
I served with Doc Bodamer in A/1/13 on hill 55 outside DaNang. I never met a nicer man, a more caring and dedicated Corpsman. I last saw Mike a few weeks before he was killed. I visited him at 3rd Force Recon while my Battery remained overnight in Hue Phu Bai e route to Khe Sanh. We traded war stories, laughed and talked of “the World” If there was a nicer guy, I haven’t met him yet and I’m 79. “It takes man’s best to do man’s worse” RIP.
