With caring thoughts
In hopes that our good Lord passes this on to you. Unfortunately I don't remember you as I was only 8 when God summoned for you. I remember my parents taking me and my siblings to your parents house to pay our respects. It was then that I learned I had a cousin that made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. As a son of a WWII vet and a brother to another Vietnam vet, I just wanted to thank you. I've always wanted to pay my respect to you at the wall in DC but haven't been able to. When we found out that the traveling wall was in Bisbee, AZ this Memorial Day weekend 2017, my wife and I drove there yesterday and paid our respect to you and all your fallen comrades. Thank you again and if our paths should ever cross, I look forward to shaking your hand.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Miguel An Ruvalcaba-Lopez, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
