Born, the day you died
I am from Chicago and was born on a February 1,1967, the day you died. I went to the Vietnam Memorial in 1995 and etched your name, after I looked for someone who lost their life, the day I was born, February 1, 1967; the day my brother was born, February 24, 1966; and the day my sister was born, February 24, 1969. I appreciate site the sacrifice that you and your family made to defend our country. Yes, you were all too young and I know your family mourns your loss. My daughter died from cancer, two years ago, at the age of six. I feel pain every day from her loss and know your family feels your loss. I want you to know that I feel your loss and appreciate all that you did so that we all could live. Thank you. Joe Gadomski
