Honoring your sacrifice to this day

I enlisted 12 Sep 1989 in the USAF. During a brief respite at basic training in San Antonio I stopped at a POW/MIA display. The representative informed me a little about you and that we were both enlisted men serving the USAF from Illinois. I made a donation to the cause and was given your memorial braclet. I still have it and wear it on occasion. I've now served over 32 years in the USAF, and took you along with me yesterday during our local Veterans Day ceremony and parade. It's been my honor to serve in the same Air Force for which you gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Blue skies and tailwinds Sergeant Roth!

Thank You

Dear SSgt Billie Roth, Thank you for your service with the 37th Consol. Maintenance Squadron. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.

Veteran's Day

I just wanted to let you know that I will have the honor of reading our dad's names in Washington DC this year on Veteran's Day at the official Veteran's Day Ceremony of The Reading of the Names. As long as we continue to speak their names out loud, they will never be forgotten.
