Rest in Peace, Brother
Doug was a great friend and a hooch-mate of mine. He served as a radio operator for Headquarters / Headquarters Company of the 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry throughout the battalion’s operating area within the Central Highlands. He served exclusively in the battalion’s tactical operations center, typically on a fire base with a secure perimeter, until being sent into the field with Alpha company in late January, 1969. I lost a true friend, and our communication platoon lost a valuable team member, those many years ago! Again, Rest in Peace, Brother!!

Thank You
Dear Sgt Douglas Ross, Thank you for your service as a Radio Operator. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
