Rest in peace Steve. My pal from grade school in Gahanna, Ohio. We lost track when your family moved to Michigan. You have been on my mind for years and will remain for the rest of my life.

Our class visited you today. Wanted to give remembrance and honor you and the rest of the fighters.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
