The cousin I never met
Glenn was my first cousin. I was always told how much I would have loved him because like me he was a clown!!! I wasn’t born until 1965. I read a book about Vietnam that he was in as we’re many others and how he went back into the jungle that day and saved seven lives. Seven families lives were forever changed because of his sacrifice. I will meet you in heaven.

Dear Glenn,
I too served in Vietnam, January 1970 to December 1970. On this Memorial Day 2022 I want to thank you for service, your courage, but mostly for saving the life of my friend Andy. You saved his life a couple of weeks before a bomb took yours.
Without heroes like you, families would never have been formed. Friends would have never met, and most of all our nation would not be what it is today.
Rest in peace soldier, until I have the honor of meeting you.
