THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

My name is Paul and I work in the office of New York State Assemblymember Kevin Cahill. Our office is planning an event to honor those who were killed in Vietnam that were from our district, which encompasses most of Ulster County and Northern Dutchess. I spend most of my time at our local VFW volunteering to service our veterans and my them feel welcome again. Our commander is a army veteran. After hearing all the stories about your sacrifices...
