Dear Lt Kenneth Rogers, Thank you for your service as a Combat Engineer Unit Commander. Your 75th birthday is soon, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Agent Orange Awareness month. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I'M THE SON OF KEN'S FATHER'S YOUNGEST AND FAVORITE SISTER JOYCE. JANIE THAT POSTED HERE IS MY SISTER. KEN WAS MY HERO AS A BOY. I WOULD SNEEK UPSTAIRS AND CHECK WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE CAME TO KY. OFTEN AND TOOK ME FOR A RIDE IN HIS SPORTS CAR. A TRUE AMERICAN HERO AND I MISS HIM.

On this Memorial Day in 2021 after the very strange year we have all navigated I think of my special friend Ken even more than usual. I wonder what wonderful things he would have done if his life had not been ended too soon. I have many great memories of our happy times in school together!
I will always remember Ken and the ultimate sacrifice he gave for our country.
