Frank was my cousin I never met. His father "Tio Pepe" I also did not meet. Tio Pepe and my Moms brother. Franks family were from Hawaii after my Tio Pepe stayed there following Pearl Harbor. I was born in 1959, the youngest of 11 and unfortunately don't remember Frank or his siblings. I hope one of them sees this and contacts me. I served in the military (Army and Army National Guard) from 1978-2009. My last tour was a deployment to Afghanistan. I am very proud to say that I am Franks cousin and wish I could I could have met him. Rest In Peace my Dear Cousin Frank and You are My Hero!

Dear Lt Frank Rodriguez, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Autumn. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Frank was a very smart A-Student at the University of Hawaii and he helped me boost my GPA, he was a valued friend and great soldier. I saw him off at the Honolulu Airport for a flight to Vietnam. The chilling thing he said to me is that "I'm not coming home." He knew.
