Thank You

Dear PFC David Rodriguez, Thank you for your service as an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Autumn. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Uncle David Rodriguez

Dear uncle. I finally found your photo through out these years. I've been wanting to see you. I have letters from you that you wrote to my dad in 1968 explaining your situation and the things you've been through and seen. It makes me happy jet sad because we really miss you. I have kept your letter for years it's about 8 pages long. It was written on Christmas Eve and you were sad that you were in nam and not with your family. We as a family remember you.

Never forgotten

Dearest David.
I never forgot the good soul that you are. My prayers to you and to your family. Every once in a while I see Iris or Danny. You will always be a very significant part of my friendship with you. I still cry when I see your photo or go to the Memorials. You deserved the chance of the very best in a beautiful future. Maybe one day we will see each other and those we have loved. Blessings to you. Marlyn

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC David Rodriguez, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
