Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from you fellow soldier, Andy Anderson, are touching. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....

On this Memorial Day 2017, we remember you Rex and the other thousands who shed their blood on the fields and jungles of Vietnam. You were a hero then and you remain a hero today.

May God bless your family as they remember also.

I worked with Rex at Millsaps IGA grocery store in 1968 on South Mt. Olive Street, just around the corner from Barnett's Dariette. He was dating Cherie Whitlock at the time when he went overseas. Just a fine patriotic Arkansas young man doing his duty. God bless.

I remember Rex from high school. Spoke to him s few times. Good kid. Should have gotten to know him better. To him, and the more than 58,000 others who's names are on the Wall, I salute you. You are remembered on this day. And that's one of the biggest honors I can give you.
