I met Richard in boot camp and We went to Okinawa for advanced training together and served in Vietnam with our other friend Larry Smith, the three of us made a pack. That if one of us would be killed we would contact the family of the other and keep them in our prayers. Which I have done. Both Richard and Larry were killed in Quang tri province I survived but also was wounded. I will always remember my buddies and keep them in my prayers. Semper fi
