Thank You
Dear Lcpl Don Robertson, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was POW/MIA Recognition Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Missing You
Dear Mark,
I will always love you! You are and will ever be my hero! Thank you for loving me, teasing me, tormenting me and for all of the wonderful memories that I have of us, as big brother and little sister.
Like when you held me in your arms and taught me to hang tinsel on our Christmas tree, when you gave me my 1st ride on your Honda motorcycle and rode to a 7-Eleven and you bought me my first moon pie and a Coke, when we would lay on the living room floor and put the speakers on our chests and listen to Marty Robbins "El Paso", when I asked to spend time with you in your room and you played your Beatles 45s for me, when you called me "Toad" and always loved me no matter what I said or did! Mark, I thank God that you are in Heaven with Scott and Pop! Now, you can all be together, I cannot wait to see you again, I MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH, give my love to everybody for me and I will see you, soon. Mom misses and loves you and she will see you soon. We reminisce about you, often...
Love,
Mary Nell (Toad)

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Don Mark Robertson, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

Never forgotten
Mark, I've always been sad that we cousins never really had the opportunity to know one another. Your family lived in Oklahoma, we lived in New Jersey, and we were so excited when you came to stay in New Jersey even for just a little while. We were so proud of you when you joined the Marines, and so crushed when we learned we'd never see you again. I will always remember you.
