Thank You

Dear Sp4 Joe Riley, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 20th anniversary of 9/11 is soon, and still very sad. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Joe

I was very close to the family during that era. I remember when Joe went to Viet Nam, the letters that he sent, even getting one after his death. I was with them when the officials came to their door to deliver the news. The anguish that Loretta, her dad and Dorothy suffered thought that time. It has affected me throughout my life. Joe had such a positive, optimistic outlook on life. Taken too soon.
