He was a big guy

Im Gregg Van Horn, i lived across the street. The only few times i saw him he was nice to this little boy at the time, in the early 60s Im so sorry to hear how much his mother and sister must have hurt. His mother was like a real loving mother to me as i look back, compared to my home.....

Memorial Day 2018

Memorial Day 2018
I visited your gravesite at the Newtown Village Cemetery today to pay my respects to you once again. It is so nice to read posts from other people who remember you as well and knew you along the way. I have posted a picture I took today of one of your gravestones.

Class Reunion

We had our 50th class reunion this year dear Eric, and everyone missed you. After that I had a chat with Culver Bolmer and we shared memories of you. I visited Normandy last year and thought of you, how young you were and how painful your loss was for your family and your girlfriend. This past year we lost our own 18 year old son, again, I thought of you.

Class mate

I have a photo of the night we graduated from flight school, 10 bright faced young Warrants. Of those 10, 3 were killed in the war, 2 hurt bad enough to come home, and 2 have since passed. I remember my friends always, but Memorial Day is a special day. Eric and I were both in the Cav, different units, same job. Donna Smith, I have read your posts on this site and God Bless you for remembering and sharing his memory. If I can figure it out I’ll post the picture in the future.
