Jeff. We served together as officers in 2/60 and you were the absolute best at what you did. You will never be forgotten.

My Uncle Robert Mossgrove was radio operator for Lt. Riek and was tragically killed along side him during the ambush. All I have are a few pictures of both of them and several stories. I think about both of you quite a bit and hope you are at peace.

The “Friends of Rocky Versace” remember one of Henry Spengler's USMA 1968 classmates - a brother Airborne-Ranger - First Lieutenant Jeffry Randal Riek, on what would’ve been his 75th birthday - 3 March 2022. He was the son of a career U.S. Army Officer - LTC JR Riek.
