Happy 75th Birthday

Happy belated Heavenly Birthday. Richard and I talk about you time and again. I especially think about you and your mom every time I pass by the old neighborhood. I think about how our lives and friendship would be like in this world today and how much love you and Jan had for each other. It would have been great if we could have taken an in country R&R somewhere in Nam to talk about Life drink a few brewskies and y’all’s wedding when we both got home. If you have some extra time up there, tell my family and your mom hello and for you all to continue watching over us

Thank You

Dear PFC Michael Richardson, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The fall of Afghanistan reminds me of Saigon. It is very sad. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Michael Wayne Richardson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
