Silver Star Medal Award

Specialist Four Michael R. Blanchette was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to A CO, 2ND BN, 1ST INFANTRY, 196TH INFANTRY BDE, AMERICAL DIV.
