A Good Man
I was on alert with Maj. Rexroad and Bob Smith the day they were lost. They scrambled while we waited. It seemed like only a very short time, less than an hour, before we received the terrible news. Maj. Rexroad was one of the nicest people I met in my time in the Air Force. We lived close and had more than one "philosophical discussion". I will remember that day for the rest of my life.

Major Rexroad in Quarters
I served with Major Rexroad with the 480th TFS at Phu Cat AB RVN. Major Rexroad was shot down a mere week after I left country. He was one of our senior officers at the age of 36. He was a outstanding officer and I will always remember him.
The attached picture includes our squandron commander, several of our other officers and ground crew.
