The years have passed and I have never forgotten you. I was standing next to you, when they opened fire. I remember you and I were discussing security issues. I always wonder, why it wasn’t me that did not make out that evening. But I pray for you every day and I know we will one day meet again. You were an outstanding Marine, who did his duty as he saw it properly. Long live the Corps. Keep guard of the gate. Semper Fi. Juan M. Escobar
