Thinking of loved ones lost
Just thinking of Kenneth today. We were cousins born just 7 months apart. I always thought he was such a good looking guy. And his Mom was one of my most favorite aunts. It broke my heart to see her & Johnny in so much pain after the Chaplin notified them of Ken’s death. It’s something I will never ever forget. RIP.

Friend, Teammate & Classmate
Ken "Pierre" Blair wore #62 for the South Cobb Eagles. When I moved to South Cobb in 1963 we became good friends and teammates. His inscription to me in my 1966 Senior yearbook..." We had alot of fun together playing hard and getting know each other...you're a great guy & good friend. I hope you go far in life. May you get the best of life. May God Bless. Your pal, Ken Blair "Pierre". To have a friend like Ken while a teenager built character. We lost him much much too soon but his passion for life and daily discipline stays with me. While I have been to the Wall, I am so thankful to the good people who have put together this photo remembrance. May God bless Ken's family.

54 YEARS
Adding one more year since you and your teammates were taken from us does not diminish the heartfelt sorrow I feel knowing you were cheated out of your life. I do not know how many more years I will be around, but for every one of them, I will carry your memory with me. If there is a God, I truly hope you are nestled in His arms.

53 YEARS
My heart will always be filled with sadness over losing you and your fellow team members back in 68. All the birthdays you missed... all the family celebrations that happened without you... all the kids you might have had... all the love you missed out on. All the people who no longer can experience your embrace. I will never forget your sacrifice. I hope no one else does either.
