Dear Sp4 Roberto Ramos-Lopez, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. The 52nd anniversary of the start of your tour just passed. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Your immage was one big influence for me getting into the Army as well.

My name is Phoenix Marr and I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois. My history teacher challenged all of his students to write remembrances for those men and women who lost their lives while putting forth all of their effort for this country. Now is the time to look back and realize how much each one of these veterans did for us. I did not know Roberto personally, but I can only imagine the courage and strength that he had while proudly representing our country. You will always be remembered! Thank you for everything you did!
