Dear Cap. Thomas Ralph, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Officer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

May America never forget your sacrifice!

I was just 4 years old.. but I have a vague memory of you.
You are a true hero and the sacrifice you made is honorable. Those you left have spent a lifetime grieving. I remember sitting next to your mother at a memorial to honor your life; years after your death. She told me that she felt overwhelming pain in her heart every day of her life as she lived grieving the early death of her oldest son. When she passed, all I could think about was the end of this lifetime of pain and the beginning of eternal life with the son she lived without here on Earth. You family is and was strong. I love them still to this very day. Please take care of your best friend, who passed from this world in 1992.. He also lived many years grieving this profound loss before his early passing. Both of you are the greatest men to ever have lived. And I will live the rest of my days humbled by your supreme sacrifices.
