do not stand at my grave and weep....
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Final Mission of SP4 Donald M. Radics
The Tet Offensive was a campaign of surprise attacks against military and civilian command and control centers throughout South Vietnam. The offensive began at 3:00 AM on January 31, 1968, when more than 80,000 North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong troops struck over 100 towns and cities, including 36 of 44 provincial capitals, five of the six autonomous cities, 72 of 245 district towns, and the southern capital of Saigon. In Hau Nghia Province, a Regional Forces/Popular Forces (RF/PF) garrison was attacked, resulting in the deaths of two U.S. military advisors. MSG Marvin J. Plata and SP4 Donald M. Radics were members of Advisory Team 60 assigned to the La Cua outpost. Thirty-seven Regional Forces were also killed, ten others wounded, and fifteen reported missing. The RF/PF outpost was defeated by treacherous action from within after Viet Cong had penetrated the organization. The traitors aided the attacking force which entered the outpost through the open front gate after the wires to the Claymore mines guarding the entrance had been cut. Most of the dead were found inside their bunkers, killed by grenades.
