I Remember Your Sacrifice

Pfc. Quinones was killed in action by small arms fire during the TET Offensive on 2-3-1968 while serving as an Infantryman with Co. C of the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. Pfc. Quinones started his tour of Vietnam on 1-11-1968. Pfc. Quinones is the son of Mr. Erasmo Quinones of General Delivery, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor David.
