THE WALL OF FACES

It’s been 54 years since you passed away. My dad, Jim Bolt told me about you and your sacrifices for America every decoration day. I now pass on my dad’s memory of his favorite cousin. To my three sons. We will see you in heaven cousin. Thank you for the sacrifice you made for America.

I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Kenny was my cousin and died when I was a young child. My dad spoke of him fondly always mentioning that Kenny was a good country boy who answered Americas call. An excellent shot and outdoorsman. Thanks for your sacrifice cousin.
