Remembering
Dear John
I knew you at college. You were seen as a leader and were greatly admired. I did not know at the time that our birthdays were two weeks apart (year 1943). Only now did I learn you died three days following my own discharge at Fort Dix. You have been in my thoughts all these years. I will be 80 years old at the end of June 2023. It is heartbreaking you were denied the opportunity to fulfill your dreams and ambition.

Thank You
Dear Lt John Prombo, Thank you for your service as an HMH Helicopter Pilt. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Summer has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

My Friend
We shared so many good times throughout high school and college. Memories of which I cherish, and they were the best of times. I remember most of all your ever-present smile. I am honored to have been your friend and wish to honor your devoted service to our country and the ultimate sacrifice made by you and also your wonderful family. You are missed my friend, Bill.
