You are never forgotten Larry!!
Larry, you were a sweet kid who never had a chance to experience life. We became great friends during
basic training, comrades in arms. And you were sent like a lamb to slaughter, straight to AIT and then
to Nam. Shortly after I got to Nam in Dec of 70, a few weeks later I heard that you had been killed. Then
later some of our friends from basic who were in your unit came to visit and told me some of the details.
That you had been killed in a screw-up by another guy -- friendly fire. Such a waste. You were a bright
young guy who had his whole life before him, and it was taken.
You are not forgotten, and you were loved friend. I wish I could have taken your place.... Via Con Dios....
